Few days ago, Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson released her personal memoir I Am Not Yvonne Nelson which got reactions across social media.

The book is an account on her experiences as a young lady from her love life, breakups, family, friendships and fame.
In her book, she revealed that she is no longer on speaking terms with her biological mother because she never told her the truth about her father's true identity.

According to Yvonne Nelson, Mr Nelson who everyone thinks is her biological father is not. She said she hated Mr Nelson and portrayed him as a deadbeat father in all her interviews not knowing he was innocent.
She just found out the truth from her mother in 2017 when Mr Nelson was sick and before she could reach the hospital to apologize to him, he was already dead.
Currently, she is not on good terms with her mother. Meanwhile, she used to praise her mom as her heroine. Sadly, her mother is now the villain because of her actions.
"I have no idea how it will end or what the future of our relationship will be like. But I feel it keeps getting worse, and it may not improve until my mother is ready to tell me who my father is. I am
not Yvonne Nelson. I need to know who I am, "she wrote in her book.
