Rapper Swae Lee reveals nationality; says he is part Nigerian

Popular American rapper and singer Swae Lee has revealed his nationality. Heshared that he is party Nigerian.
Swae Lee is a part of the music duo, Rae Sremmurd. He and his brother Slim Jxmmi make up the music duo known popularly as Rae Sremmurd.
His real name is Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown but he is known by his music name Swae Lee.

He was born in 1993 in the Unite dates and has a brother known as Slim Jxmmi who is also a musician. He has gotten many nominations like the Grammy Award for Best Rap Song and song of the year.
He recently revealed that he is partly a Nigerian. He shared this when he was trying to explain to his fans why he put some Nigerian flag emoji on his tweet
Recently he announced on twitter that he was jumping on the Amapiano sound which is a popularly known South African Music genre.
He shared that he would also be using this sound and put some Nigerian emojies but this didn't sit right with some of his South African fans.
They took to social media to accuse him of discrediting their country, which is actually the originators of Amapiano.
He then had to explain that the tweet wasn't meant that way and he said he added the Nigerian flag because he is partly Nigerian.
He said it had nothing to do with the origination of the Amapiano sound.
