Nigeria afrobeat singer Rema flaunts the awards he received at the 16th Headies Award night. He won the award for Best Male Artiste, Digital Artiste of the Year, and African Artiste of the Year.
For the Digital Artiste of the Year, Rema emerged as the winner of this category ahead of Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Omah Lay, Kizz Daniel, and Asake.

For the African Artiste of the Year category, Rema won the award ahead of Burna Boy, Marwa Loud, Black Sheriff, and Diamond Platnumz.

Rema was nominated alongside the likes of Asake, Kizz Daniel, Ruger, Omah Lay, and Burna Boy for the Best Male Artiste.

He was also nominated for categories like Song of the Year and Album of the Year. So out of the five categories that Rema was nominated for, he took home three awards. That is amazing. While flaunting his awards, he wrote, "Honored to be celebrated by my people, as a soldier of the course I'm glad to serve. Now let's get back to work."
